A Vision for Real Progress

Mark is passionate about public policy that strengthens families, protects democracy, and creates opportunity for all. He believes that when we work together, we can deliver real solutions that make life more affordable, communities stronger, and government more accountable.

Cost of Living

Working families are being squeezed as wages fall behind the rising costs of housing, groceries, childcare, utilities, and insurance.

I will fight to lower everyday costs by expanding affordable housing, strengthening fair wages, promoting competitive markets, and eliminating unnecessary tariffs that raise prices and limit consumer choice.

I will also push for housing insurance reforms that prevent price gouging, stabilize coverage in disaster‑prone areas, and keep insurance affordable so families can plan for the future with confidence.

Stack of Cash

Healthcare Access

Too many people skip doctor visits, prescriptions, or mental health care because costs are too high, while rural and underserved communities face shrinking access to providers.

I will work to expand coverage, lower prescription drug prices, and strengthen community health systems so no one has to choose between their health and paying the bills.

I also support a single‑payer healthcare system that guarantees comprehensive care for every resident, eliminates surprise bills, and removes out‑of‑pocket costs at the point of care.

By streamlining administration and negotiating fair prices, we can make healthcare simpler, more affordable, and treat it as the human right it should be.

Pharmacy Shelf Medication

Government Accountability

People are tired of corruption, insider deals, and leaders who put themselves ahead of the public.

I will restore trust in government by enforcing strong ethics rules, increasing transparency, and ensuring independent oversight so government works for the people—not the powerful.

I will fight to rebalance the three branches of government, end constitutional drift, and put “We the People” back at the center of our democracy.

By keeping representatives accountable and closely connected to the communities they serve, we can make government effective, ethical, and worthy of the public’s trust.

Capitol Building

Voting Rights & Democracy

Barriers to voting, partisan gerrymandering, and political interference are undermining trust in our democracy and silencing too many voices, especially in communities of color.

I will protect voting rights by supporting national standards for fair elections, defending access to the ballot, and ensuring every vote is counted.

Voting is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and if identification is required to vote, it must be provided by the government at no cost so it never becomes a barrier to participation.

By strengthening election integrity while expanding access, we can build a democracy that is fair, inclusive, and truly representative of the people.

Reproductive Freedom

Millions of women live in states where politicians—not doctors—control personal medical decisions, creating dangerous delays and unequal access to care.

I will fight for federal protections for reproductive freedom and expanded access to women’s healthcare so decisions remain between patients and their doctors.

I am also committed to reducing the number of unwanted pregnancies to zero by investing in comprehensive sex education and ensuring affordable, accessible contraception.

By focusing on prevention, education, and personal autonomy, we can ensure every pregnancy is wanted and every person has the freedom to make informed choices about their reproductive health.

Raised Fists Unity

Gun Violence Prevention

Gun violence is now the leading cause of death for American children, and too many communities live with the daily trauma of preventable shootings.

I will support universal background checks, safe storage laws, gun safety training, and community‑based violence prevention programs that save lives while respecting responsible gun ownership.

I also support stronger gun safety measures, including reducing the availability of AR‑style and other high‑capacity firearms frequently used in mass shootings, alongside investments in accessible mental health care and crisis intervention services.

By balancing prevention, mental health support, and constitutional rights, we can protect our freedoms while building safer neighborhoods for everyone.

Tactical Gun Holster

Climate & Environmental Justice

Extreme heat, flooding, and pollution hit low‑income and minority communities first and hardest, threatening health, homes, and local economies.

I will invest in clean energy, resilient infrastructure, and environmental justice initiatives that protect vulnerable communities while creating good‑paying jobs. That includes strengthening flood defenses, improving heat resilience and public transportation, protecting the St. Johns River, opposing offshore drilling, and preparing communities for extreme weather.

I will also support U.S. leadership in global climate action through agreements like the Paris Accord and accelerate every form of clean energy—from solar and wind to advanced batteries and hydrogen—so we build a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient future for all.

Clean Energy

Public Education

Underfunded schools, teacher shortages, and political interference are undermining student success and driving educators out of the classroom.

While states and local districts run schools, Congress plays a critical role by setting funding priorities and providing resources through programs like Title I for low‑income schools, IDEA for special education, and grants for higher education and teacher training.

I will fight to increase federal investment in these programs, expand loan‑forgiveness and workforce pipelines for educators, and protect evidence‑based curriculum from political interference.

By using the federal government’s funding and oversight authority responsibly, we can strengthen public schools and ensure every student has access to a high‑quality education.

Yellow School Buses

Immigration & Community Safety

Our immigration system is outdated and inconsistent, too often punishing families who contribute to our communities and economy while failing to focus on real public safety threats.

I will support modernized immigration laws, humane enforcement, and clear pathways that keep families together while maintaining safe, orderly borders. That includes creating fair pathways to citizenship for people who work hard, pay taxes, and follow the rules, so contributors to our communities can fully participate in American life.

By pairing humane immigration reform with smart, targeted border security that stops violent criminals and dangerous drugs, we can keep communities safe while upholding our values and the rule of law.

American Flag Celebration

Equity & Civil Rights

Discrimination in housing, healthcare, employment, and public safety continues to deny millions of Americans equal opportunity and basic dignity.

My guiding principle is simple: love thy neighbor, period—and ensure every person is treated with fairness and respect, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or background.

I will enforce and strengthen civil rights protections, expand anti‑discrimination laws, and hold institutions accountable when those rights are violated.

By advancing policies rooted in compassion, inclusion, and equal justice under the law, we can break down barriers and build a stronger, more equitable society for all.

Protesters Holding Fists

International Affairs

Global instability, pandemics, and supply‑chain disruptions don’t stay overseas—they directly affect American families, businesses, and communities, including here in Northeast Florida.

The United States has a responsibility to lead with strength, stability, and integrity by using diplomacy, development, and strategic partnerships to prevent conflict and protect our national security.

Our role is not to police the world, but to work with allies to strengthen global health systems, stabilize supply chains, and address threats like extremism, pandemics, and humanitarian crises before they reach our shores.

By leading by example and investing in smart international partnerships, America can uphold its values and ensure global events don’t undermine the safety and prosperity of our communities at home.

Flags Against Sky

Policy on AIPAC and Israel

Is U.S. policy toward Israel is being shaped by American values and the public interest—or by political pressure and funding from pro‑Israel lobbying networks like AIPAC—especially in the context of U.S. taxpayer support for military action that results in large-scale civilian harm?

I support a strong U.S.–Israel relationship, but U.S. foreign policy must be guided by American values, international law, and a commitment to human rights. That means Israel’s security matters, and so do Palestinian lives—there should be no blank checks for military actions that cause widespread civilian suffering. I also believe Americans should be able to trust that our elected officials are making decisions based on the public interest, not undue influence from any lobbying organization or special-interest money.

I will not take AIPAC money —or any special interest—having outsized influence over U.S. policy because taxpayer-funded foreign policy decisions must be accountable, lawful, and centered on human rights rather than political pressure.
